Stratus Outdoors offers a full range of camping and adventure gear that is innovative, environmentally responsible and built to last for generations. Their signature ‘Climate Changer’ shelters have revolutionised the iconic Aussie Tarp, reducing the temperature underneath and making the camping experience more enjoyable. They are dedicated to protecting the adventure, with products made from 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles.
The challenge
Build an audience from the ground up while generating profitable sales across their range of products. We needed to get Stratus into as many hands as possible so that ‘campsite envy’ and ‘word of month’ did some of the heavy lifting too.
The solution
We launched organic social media content to assist in building the brand, telling the story and building the community. We then executed a Meta advertising Strategy with a full funnel ads approach to nurture new and prospecting customers though the pipeline from brand discovery to sale. We also supported with Google advertising, to align Stratus with other adventure brands with the aim of persuading users to consider Stratus over other competitors.
In addition to these always on strategies we supported Stratus’s launch with a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ giveaway. The giveaway was rolled out over social media and encouraging brand discovery as well capturing user data through an interactive form, in return a $13K Sunshine Coast adventure was up for grabs.
