Getting outdoors with Coleman - how we developed a social media strategy to increase brand recognition and grow national online following

As the number one outdoor brand in the world, Coleman® is always striving to make it as simple as possible to go outside and enjoy all that nature has to offer. After 120 years, Coleman gear is everywhere you are: on the trail, by the lake, at a tailgate, or in the middle of a music festival.

The Challenge

To bring Coleman into the social media era, connect with their audience, increase brand recognition, grow online followers and showcase Colemans products with a focus on quality, innovation and performance.

The Solution

We developed a creative proposition aimed at connecting with their audience. We highlighted the magic of camping, playing on emotions and inspiring people to explore, reset and recharge. We developed a broad range of content pillars, a bold new design style, professional photography and videography to showcase the extensive range of Coleman products. Responsible for full social media management, including creative content, growth, influencers and advertising. With a small media budget, we were able to reach new audiences and substantially increase Coleman's online presence.

The Impact

We reengaged dormant social followers and reached a whole new audience of Coleman and camp enthusiasts. The change in reach, engagement, growth and positive brand recognition was immediate.
